USKO Karate welcomes you to the concept of Sports Karate. Our students learn more than just how to kick and punch. They learn self-discipline, etiquette and respect.

Our classes are taught in a relaxed but disciplined manner and are great for both children and adults alike. The varied workouts (Line work, Bag Work, Kata and Sparring) are both rewarding and stimulating.

All students must have achieved the required number of training hours and courses (course attendance and grading history is kept in the back of the students licenses.) before any grading can be considered.

Under Sixteens
In order to ensure that the students are of the correct standard for each grading, they must also have achieved the correct Kata badge/s for the level grade they wish to take.

To be awarded a badge the student must demonstrate to the instructor that they can complete the required Kata correctly. There is no limit to the number of attempts a student can make for each Kata badge but only two attempts are allowed per training session.
Adult members 16+ are not required to complete the Kata Badge's but they must have demonstrated to the instructor that they can complete the necessary Kata to the required standard.
